  2. This archive contains two lists:
  3.  
  4. 1) I&UK_SNM.LST - The Fidonet I&UK Genealogy Surname List. A list of
  5.    surname interests of participants in the Fidonet I&UK Genealogy Echo.
  6.  
  7. 2) I&UK_ADD.LST - The Address List. A list of those researchers with their
  8.    contact information.
  9.  
  10.  
  11. If you see a record in the Surname List which is of interest to you and you
  12. wish to contact the researcher who submitted that record, then you must
  13. identify the nametag associated with that record and use it to look up the
  14. contact details for that researcher in the Address List. The nametag is
  15. recorded in the last "field" of each record in the Surname List.
  16.  
  17. Please do NOT ask me for information about any record unless it is one I
  18. submitted, as it is unlikely that I will be able to help. Instead contact
  19. the researcher who submitted that name in the way suggested above.
  20.  
  21. If you wish to submit your own research interests for inclusion in the
  22. List, you *must* be a participant in the Fidonet Ireland & United Kingdom
  23. Genealogy Echo and you must also have some information associated with each
  24. surname which you are willing to share with other researchers.
  25.  
  26. IMPORTANT: Before submitting your own lists to me, please read the
  27. instructions found in the file, IUKSLHLP.ZIP which is kept up to date and
  28. regularly distributed via the Fidonet Genealogy Software Distribution System
  29. (GSDS).

  31. You can contact me by either regular mail, email, telephone, Fidonet Netmail
  32. or in the Fidonet I&UK Genealogy Echo.
